Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari, the Regional Transport Officer (RTO) of Kashmir, said, “We have sealed two cab services, Jugnoo and Novo, as they are currently operating without a license. We have received court instructions to shut down these two cab services, and we have complied.”

Notably, “Jugnoo and Novo were both app-based ride-hailing services that were operating in Srinagar. These services allowed users to book a cab through a Smartphone application, which connected them with nearby drivers.
