Participate In Special Yoga Session At Royal Spring Golf Course

Srinagar- The G20 delegates, who attended the 3rd working group meeting in Srinagar, besides visiting imperial Mughal Gardens, participated in a special Yoga session at Royal Springs Golf Course situated on the foothills of Zabarwan range on their last day of Kashmir visit.
Officials said some visiting delegates drove to Royal Spring Golf Course (RSGC) Wednesday morning and participated in a special Yoga session, while few of them also participated in the G20 golf tournament organized by the Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar there.
A group of foreign guests along with their families, visited Mughal Gardens, including Nishat, Chashma Shahi and Pari Mahal.
Delegates in groups visited the refurbished polo-view market in the heart of the city in the afternoon.
Few delegates including those from the United States and Korea, according to sources, left Srinagar Wednesday afternoon while the rest of them are scheduled to leave for Srinagar Airport on Thursday morning.
Nearly 160 people including family members of G20 representatives, sources said had arrived in Kashmir on Monday.
Sources said that heightened security arrangements were put in place in Srinagar and in and around SKICC, the venue for 3rd G20 working group meeting to avoid any untoward incident.
Sources said the G20 attendees’ later had a grand lunch at The Lalit Grand Palace at Gupkar Road before visiting the pedestrian polo-view market at Residency Road.
Services of Sniffer dogs were also used in and around the Polo-View Market to detect explosive substances hours before the G20 delegates visited the pedestrian market for a stroll and shopping.

Some of the delegates were seen showing keen interest in handmade Kashmiri handicrafts at Poloview Market before driving back to their hotels.
Talking to the media at Poloview Market, Milan, a G20 member, representing Argentina said the environment in Kashmir was so pleasant and that it was like being in heaven.
Sources said that Boulevard will be thrown open for pedestrian and traffic movement on Thursday after three days, while Gupkar Road will be closed for an hour until the delegates leave for Srinagar International Airport.
