Srinagar- Three persons accused of beating two youth were arrested in Srinagar, police said on Tuesday.
“02 boys in Eidgah park were severely beaten & injured by some persons today, 03 accused persons namely 1. Ahrar Sidiq Najar 2. Atif Zaffar Wani 3. Haseeb Ahmad Mir all from Wanganpora are arrested by police teams. FIR registered in Safakadal PS, weapon of offence also recovered,” Srinagar Police said in a tweet.

Police Solves Hit-And-Run Case, 3 Held
Police on Tuesday arrested all the three youth in a hit-and-run case in which a lady was hit and critically injured at Hazratbal area in Srinagar.
Police said the accused were arrested after hectic efforts in which the CCTV footage of the incident played a pivotal role.
The trio was arrested by the Nigeen police station on the basis of information provided by citizens after the accused badly hit and injured a lady. Bike, police said, has also been seized and further investigation into the case is on.
” On the basis of information provided by vigilant citizen, All the 3 boys involved in hit and run case in hazratbal area arrested by Nigeen PS. Bike that caused accident also seized. They had badly hit & injured a lady. CCTV footage played a huge role in the investigation,” Srinagar police said in a tweet.
