Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir Disaster Management Authority (JKDMA) on Saturday issued an avalanche alert in the three districts of the Jammu province, urging people not to venture out in the avalanche-prone areas.
“Low danger avalanche is likely to occur above 3000 metres above sea level in Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban districts in next 24 hours,” JKDMA posted on its official Twitter handle Saturday.
The JKDMA advisory also advised people to take precautions and avoid venturing in the avalanche prone areas till further orders.
