Srinagar- An employee of the Power Development Department (PDD) sustained critical head injuries on Tuesday after falling off an electric pole in Hyderpora area of the city outskirts.
Hilal Ahmed Dar was repairing wife atop an electricity pole in New Colony Airport on Tuesday morning when he received an electric shock and fell on the ground, reports said. Dar, who received head injury, was removed to the SKIMS Bemina for treatment. However, the doctors referred him to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment.
According to reports, the condition of the PDD employee was said to be critical. He works at PDD Division 2nd Rajbagh and is deputed in Hyderpora.
Meanwhile, reports said that Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case.
