SRINAGAR- The Jammu & Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) is set to hold selection trials for the J&K Senior Women’s Football Team today, Friday, March 10, at Synthetic Turf TRC here. The trials begin at 2:00 PM and will continue on March 11 as well.
The selected players will participate in the 27th Senior National Women Football Championship, scheduled to begin on March 27 at Bhillai, Chattisgarh.
The notification for the trials was issued by the office of Divisional Sports Officer Kashmir. The notification said that Dr. Mohd. Akbar Khan (Member Sports Council) and Ms. Kabra Altaf (Member Sports Council) would form the selection committee.
“Besides Javed Ahmad Sofi, Football Coach J&K Sports Council, Muzamil Mehmood Football Coach (JKFA) and Khalid Qayoom Football Coach (JKFA) are also advised to conduct the trails on the above said dates,” the notification added.
