Srinagar- A leopard was killed on Thursday after run over by an unknown vehicle in Achabal area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
The leopard, officials said, was hit by an unidentified vehicle when it was trying to cross the road at Mohripora village in Achabal on Thursday evening.
A Wildlife Department official said that carcass of the leopard has been lifted from the spot and will be buried as per departmental protocol. (GNS)
