Srinagar- A 60-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his home in Mendar area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, officials said.
News agency GNS quoting officials reported that one Mushtaq Ahmad son of Hassan Mohammad, a resident of Mendhar area of Poonch, was found lying unconscious and later on declared dead.
The body, they said, was shifted to SDH Mendhar for post-mortem.
Confirming the death of the person, SHO Gursai Farooq Ahmad said that investigations under section 174 CRPC have been initiated.
