JCO Dies Of ‘Cardiac Arrest’

Srinagar- A Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) of Assam Rifles died on Saturday in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district after reportedly suffering a cardiac arrest.

JCO Vivekanandu Daniyal of 26 Assam Rifles posted at Paribal Thikri army camp complained of chest pain after which he was evacuated to 92 Base Hospital Badamibagh for treatment, a local news agency KNT reported Saturday. However, the officer was declared dead.

The report said that the JCO died apparently of cardiac arrest

The deceased was a resident of Uttarakhand state.

Meanwhile, Police Post Aloosa has started proceedings under CrPc 174 in this regard.
