This week’s INKISHAF is from Kutch area of Gujarat where pastoralism is thriving due to active mentoring by government and NGOs. To strengthen the local mutton industry, the pastoralist community of Jammu and Kashmir needs to be empowered on the same lines by the government and the welfare bodies.
