Baramulla Cricketer Succumbs After Fatal Fall

BARAMULLA– A 25-year old well-known cricketer from Baramulla district breathed his last on Wednesday after he fell off from second story of his house.

Two days after he fell, the youth succumbed to his injuries at SK Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) on Wednesday morning, officials said.

The youth identified as Tahir Ahmed Lone son of Haji Ghulaam Ahmed Lone was a well known cricketer of Baramulla was injured after he fell off from the second story of his house in Watergam in Rafiabad on last Saturday.

He was was shifted to a nearby hospital where from he was referred to SKIMS Srinagar for advanced treatment, they said. However, the injured youth succumbed to his injuries today at SKIMS Soura, they added. (KNS)
