I wanted to convey my observations about the paper and the video clips[Inkishaf] prepared and presented by my friend  Dr. Raja Mohammad Muzaffar Bhat, from time to time on important social issues. Honestly speaking I am of the opinion that the Kashmir Observer is one of the best english newspapers of the Valley both in quality and content, in spite of restrictions. It has maintained the ethics of journalism when compared to other newspapers. I am regularly rather religiously reading this newspaper, because its coverage is marvelous. I appreciate topics  on health issues that are also published. It is a moment of pride and privilege for all of us that intelligent and competent people are at the helm of affairs. I remember sometime back a video clip on dog menace was uploaded by a Journalist of KO, Sheikh Arsh, from a window of SKIMS on dog menace depicting the harrowing scenes of dogs in large numbers in the lanes and bylanes of SKIMS, quarreling and chasing the cars, which promoted me to write a chilling article on dog menace for publication in newspapers. That video was widely appreciated.

Regarding the program Inkishaf, usually prepared and presented by Dr. Raja Mohammad Muzaffar Bhat, on various social issues I want to convey that they are most credible, and informative because this is supported by official information.  Dr. Raja Mohammad Muzaffar Bhat has shown the courage and willingness to highlight a most important public issue of Fruit Mandi which needs a lot of appreciation. Fruit Mandi Srinagar is situated in the heart of Srinagar and its condition is deplorable. On the one hand the Government claims to make Srinagar a smart city but on the other side there are some such issues which need the attention of the Government.
