SRINAGAR: The J&K Carrom Association on Tuesday said that it is going to conduct selection trials for the upcoming the 47th Junior National Carrom Championship, which will be held from 01.02.2023 to 04.02.2023 at Dadar, Mumbai (Maharashtra).
The selection trials will take place on January 9, 2023 at 2 PM. The venue of the trials will be Carrom Hall SKISC in Srinagar.
“All the junior player position holders of the recently conducted UT Level Carrom Championship are advised to report to the association and further all the desired players, interested schools, institutions, clubs and district units of J&K Carrom Association will go through selection process, they are requested to register their players on email jkcarrom@gmail.com for the said trials in the below format: Name, Parentage, DOB, Institution, Address. For further information Contact Arif Sultan 9906767529,” the association said in a statement.
The statement also mentioned the age criteria for selection:
“Players born on or after 02.02.2005 may take part in Junior (under 18) events.
Players born on or after 02.02.2002 may take part in Youth (under 21) events.
Entries shall be accepted with valid legal age proof only and valid Covid vaccination certificate,” the statement concluded.
