Baramulla- A girl on Saturday jumped into the river Jhelum in Baramulla district while a search and rescue operation has been launched.
An official said that following the incident, a rescue team including police immediately rushed to the spot and launched searches.
He said a search operation to trace the girl was going on. The incident took place even as rescuers were still searching for a girl who jumped in Jhelum in Sopore last month.
