Srinagar- A drone-like object was spotted along the Line of Control (LoC) in Baloni Sonagali area of Mendhar in Poonch on Tuesday, officials said.
They said that the drone-like object was spotted at around 1740 hours and it later moved back towards Pakistan. Further investigations into the matter are underway, the official told a local news agency GNS.
Arms Cache Recovered In Uri
The government forces on Tuesday recovered a cache of arms and ammunition in Uri Sector of Baramulla district.
Acting on specific input, police and army’s 16 SIKHLI launched a joint cordon and search operation in the village Chauranda of Uri, a police spokesperson said. During the search operation, he said, the joint team recovered a cache of ammunition including 200 AK rounds, eight Chinese grenades and IED material.
“Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Uri and further investigation set into motion,” the spokesperson added.
