Srinagar- In a tragic accident, a minor girl died on Friday after slipping into a stream in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
3-year-old Aaliya Rafiq, daughter of Mohammad Rafiq Chechi, was alongside her sister, when she accidently fell off a bridge into Mawar Nallah, reports said Friday. The minor girl was evacuated from the water source and taken to District Hospital Handwara for treatment. However, the doctors there referred her to a Srinagar hospital for advanced treatment.
In Srinagar, the minor was declared dead on arrival.
