IUST Holds Trekking Expedition

 AWANTIPORA- Islamic University of Information and Technology (IUST) Proctorial Office organised a trekking-cum-expedition program of Wastoorvan in collaboration with J&K Wild Life department, Range Khrew.

The trek was led by Dr. Sheikh Jamiel (Senior Proctor, IUST) and Zubair Ahmed Dar (Security Incharge IUST) was to explore the trekking route from IUST to Wahab Sahib Shrine Khrew through the Wastoorvan mountain.

Twenty-two University and Wild Life Department members started trekking from the IUST campus early in the morning. “Such programs help in strategising and competing to foster a high degree of individual learning and team cooperation,” said Dr. Jamiel.
