Srinagar- A minor girl was killed while her father sustained injuries on Friday in a road accident in Lar area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Seven-year-old Zahida and her father Firdous Ahmad Magray sustained injuries when their scooty (JK05J-0306) was hit by a Tata mobile in Naitang village of Lar on Friday, reports said. Both of them were removed to the District Hospital Ganderbal for treatment. However, the doctors there declared the minor girl dead.
According to reports, Magray was referred to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment.
The reports further added that the driver fled from the spot after hitting the father-daughter duo.
Meanwhile, Police have registered a case in this regard and a manhunt has been launched to nab the driver.
