Pulwama Cricketer Dies Of Heart Attack

Srinagar- A young cricketer from Pulwama district on Friday died at the playing field in the neighbouring Anantnag district of South Kashmir after suffering a heart attack.

22-year old youth Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan of Naina village of Pulwama collapsed on ground during a cricket match in Bijbehara area of Anantnag on Friday afternoon, reports said. Khan, reports said, had bowled two overs of the game before he vomited and collapsed on the ground during fielding.

The cricketer, reports said, was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, the doctors there declared him dead.

Reports said that heart attack is believed to be the cause behind his death.
