Srinagar- Two people were killed on Wednesday after coming under a landslide in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Mushtaq Ahmad Parray and Fayaz Ahmad Parray, both residents of Bundgam, were extracting sand on Wednesday evening when they came under a landslide, reports said. Both the men, reports said, remained buried under the landslide till the rescue workers recovered their bodies after an operation.
The bodies, reports said, were shifted to a nearby health facility for necessary medico-legal formalities, they said.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and started further investigations.
