Srinagar- A policeman was injured on Friday when militants attacked a team of naka party of government forces in Bijbehara area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said.
A police official said that militants fired upon joint naka party of police/CRPF in Bijbehara area of Anantnag, leading to injuries to a cop.
The injured cop was rushed to a hospital for treatment, the official said.
The area has been cordoned-off and a search is in progress, he added.
