SRINAGAR- Majeed Bagh FC defeated Valley XI by 2 goals to 1 on Friday in the first match of the ongoing A-Division Football league 2022 which was played at Synthetic Turf TRC here.
The match between the Majeed Bagh FC and Valley XI was expected to be a closely contested affair and football fans in huge numbers had gathered at the venue to witness it. Valley XI took the lead in 19th minute through Danish of Valley XI. In 25th minute Annus of Majeed Bagh scored an equaliser for his team. Majeed Bagh FC continued to attack opposite goalpost with higher frequency, in 30th minute Musa doubled their lead. At final whistle the score line was 2-1 in favour of Majeed Bagh FC.
The second match was played between Young Edigah FC and Nadirgund FC. The match started with aggresive note, both tried to hard find the net but no one able to score till the 29th Minute. It was Mudabir from Nadirgund FC who scored a magnificent goal. Both teams tried to find the net but no one was able to score till the finale whistle blew. The match ended 1-0 in favour of Nadirgund FC.
The tournament is organised by JKFA in collaboration with JKSC.
