Srinagar– Police on Friday said that it arrested a youth for allegedly raping a polytechnic student in Srinagar.
“One accused namely Zahid Majeed Sheikh of Shalteng arrested for raping a student of Govt Polytechnic, Bemina today,” police said in a tweet.
Police said a case was registered under FIR (55/2022) under section 376 of IPC at PS Bemina today afternoon. “Victim is undergoing treatment at a hospital & is stable,” police added
