Suspected IED Found On Baramulla-Srinagar Highway, Traffic Halted

Srinagar- Government forces on Saturday found a suspected improvised explosive device (IED), planted on the roadside along Baramulla—Srinagar highway at Putkha area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

News agency KNO quoting a  senior officer reported that the government forces detected the explosive device lying by the roadside following which bomb disposal squad (BDS) was called in.

The officer said that following the detection of suspected IED, traffic on Baramulla—Srinagar highway has been halted from both sides as a precautionary measure.
