J&K Police Slaps PSA On Militant Recruiters

Srinagar- The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar said on Monday that those who motivate and lure young boys towards militancy are being booked under the Public Safety Act (PSA) in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a police spokesperson, Kumar said that Police have succeeded to a large extent to prevent youth from taking up arms and are working on multi-dimensional fronts to prevent local militant recruitment.

“Those who motivate and lure young boys towards terrorism are being booked under PSA,” he said.

Kumar, as per the spokesperson also said that police was also tracking new recruits through technical surveillance and bringing them back.
