Srinagar Boy Cycles To Kargil & Back In 35 Hours

SRINAGAR- A 27-year-old youth recently concluded a 404 km solo journey bicycling from Srinagar to Kargil and back in less than 35 hours and 30 minutes.

Mir Iterat Haideri, a resident of Baghwan Pora, Lal Bazar, said that he did the solo ride without any practice, and claimed he is the first youth from Srinagar to achieve this feat.

“Nothing is impossible in this world for a strong-willed and passionate person,” Iterat said.

The youth consecrated his travel with the message “Save Humanity” and “Avoid Drugs”. Iterat started his journey on May 4 and constantly updated his Facebook profile with pictures of his arduous journey of cycling 8,789 feet above sea-level. He reached back on May 8 and has also shot a vlog of his travels and plans to upload it on his YouTube channel soon.
