J&K Clocks Nine New Corona Cases

Srinagar- Nine more people in Jammu and Kashmir tested positive for Coronavirus on Friday while no fresh fatality due to virus was reported from the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.

According to officials, Kashmir Valley reported six new cases of Covid-19 while three others were detected in the Jammu division, taking the total number of people infected since the onset of the pandemic in J&K to 454088.

In the Valley, officials said, all the new six cases of infection were detected in Srinagar while in the winter capital two were reported from Jammu and one from Poonch.

During the same time, officials said, eight more Coronavirus infected people recovered in J&K.

Also, they said that the death toll in the pandemic remained unchanged at 4751 in J&K—2328 in Jammu and 2423 in Kashmir, as no fresh fatality was reported during the last 24 hours.
