Srinagar- A non-local labourer was killed and another was injured when a framed iron structure for construction of a ring road in Chadoora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district sank on Thursday.
Official sources said that two labourers— Lal Chand son of Jagir Chand and Raju Ram son of Ram Prasad, both from Batoli Mirzapur Banaras UP—at Thukerpora Gudsathoo Chadoora came under the frame work, leading to on the spot of the former and injuries to latter. Injured labourer, Raju Ram, was shifted to SDH Chadoora wherefrom he was referred to SKIMS Bemina Srinagar for further treatment, they said. (GNS)
