SRINAGAR- Real Kashmir FC on Thursday announced that trials for its academy at Pattan Zone will take place on Sunday, January 2, 2022.
The venue for the trials has been fixed at Government Degree College Pattan in district Baramulla. The trials will begin at 12:00 PM.
In a statement, RKFC said the trials are open for players born 1-01-2007 to 31-12-2009.
“The club is looking for young cubs to become a part of the beautiful game,” the club statement said.
Interested players have been requested to bring their original date of birth certificate. For more inquiries, players can call on 7006973092.
The trials come as part of the club’s efforts to spread its grassroots development program outside of Srinagar city. Real Kashmir will open a football academy in north Kashmir and these trials will be a stepping stone towards the same.
“The club from Srinagar has brought so much positivity to the state, and I believe taking it to different parts of the interior of Kashmir will also help make these places more accessible and shared the same positive feelings that football brings. Overall, it has been a fantastic experience,” RKFC owner Sandeep Chattoo said in a statement.
The club statement added that north Kashmir’s Pattan will be the first location of the academy, which will then extend to every area in north as well as south Kashmir.
