Srinagar- Militants on Monday lobbed a grenade towards a picket of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
According to reports, unidentified militants hurled a grenade on the bunker of CRPF 90 battalion near Arwani Bridge on Monday afternoon that missed the intended target and exploded on the roadside with a bang. In the attack, reports said, there was no loss of life or property.
Soon after the attack, police and CRPF cordoned off the area and launched a manhunt to nab the attackers.
On Sunday, two policemen were injured when militants hurled a grenade at a police party in the neighboring Pulwama district.
