Srinagar: Police on Friday claimed to have arrested two absconders, who were evading arrest from the last 12 years, from central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

Fayaz Ahmad Ganie of Hajibagh, Soibugh and Manzoor Ahmed Kumar of Sanoor, Magam were arrested by a team headed by in-charge police post Soibugh on the basis of a specific input, a police spokesperson said. The duo, he said, were evading arrest from the last 12 years.

“They were wanted by law for their involvement in different cases in various police stations of the district. The arrested persons will be produced before the Court of law accordingly,” he added.
