Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha on Friday discussed various issues related to internal security management in the Union Territory with General Officer Commanding (GOC) 15 Corps, Lt General, D.P Pandey
The top army commander briefed the LG about the prevailing security scenario in the Union Territory at Raj Bhavan here on Friday, an official spokesperson said.
“They also discussed various issues related to internal security management in J&K,” he said, adding that the LG appreciated the high professionalism of the Army in ensuring a safe and secure environment for the people of J&K.
Earlier, the official spokesperson said, the Secretary Parliamentary Affairs, GOI, Gyanesh Kumar today called on LG and discussed a variety of issues related to Panchayati Raj System in J&K.
