Srinagar: An Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE), of PMGSY Sub division Kangan died on Friday in a road accident in Kachnambal village of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Altaf Ahmad Cheka, a resident of Ahmednagar, Soura, was on his way from Wangath towards Prang when his SUV (JK01AN-5394) turned turtle near Kachnambal and rolled into a deep gorge leaving him dead on the spot, reports said.
The AEE’s body was later taken to Sub-District Hospital, Kangan for medico-legal formalities.
Meanwhile, police said that a case under relevant sections of laws has been registered in this regard.
