153 More Recover From Covid In J&K

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir reported on Tuesday recovery of 153 more coronavirus infected people, while 83 new cases and one more Covid-19 related death was confirmed in the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.

According to officials, 153 more Covid-19 patients have recovered—58 from Jammu division and 95 from the Valley during the last 24 hours leaving active cases at 1158—473 in Jammu and 685 in Kashmir. During the same time, officials said, 83 fresh cases of coronavirus were reported from the Union Territory —45 from Kashmir Valley and 38 from the winter capital.

Giving district-wise details, officials said, Srinagar reported 17, Baramulla 5, Budgam 3, Pulwama 4, Kupwara 4, Anantnag 2, Bandipora 2, Ganderbal 3, Kulgam 3, Jammu 9, Rajouri 8, Doda 7, Kathua 1, Kishtwar 5, Poonch 5, and Reasi 3. Four districts of Shopian, Udhampur, Samba and Ramban reported no new case of coronavirus.

The officials further said that one Covid-19 related fatality was reported from Jammu thus taking the overall death toll since the outbreak of pandemic last year in J&K to 4398—2159 in Jammu and 2240 in Kashmir.
