‘Fit India Freedom Run 2.0’ Campaign At Srinagar

Srinagar: Principal Secretary to Govt. Youth Services & Sports Department J&K, Alok Kumar Friday launched FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN 2.0 at Nehru Park Srinagar. The campaign is a part of FIT INDIA MISSION with the Slogan ‘FITNESS KA DOSE, AADHA GHANTA ROZ’ in order to encourage citizens to make physical activity a routine in their daily lives.

Kumar flagged off the freedom run that was attended by about 400 participants including students, citizens and field employees of District Youth Services & Sports Office Srinagar. A closing function was organized at SKICC lawns at the culmination of the Run. Director Youth Services & Sports J&K Gazanfar Ali, Special Secretary YS&S Department Mohd Ashraf Bhat, Joint Director Kashmir YS&S, Bashir Ahmad, District Youth Services & Sports Officer Srinagar Balbir Singh, Principal Govt College of Physical Education Hartej Singh among others attended the launching ceremony today.
