Darbar Move Decision Will Impact Businesses In Jammu: Muslim Front

Share

Jammu: Jammu Muslim Front Saturday termed the cancellation of darbar move as a hasty step which has left several unanswered questions.

Shuja Zaffar Chairman of the front, questioned asked: “Why such an order was issued when delimitation is in progress and the election is round the corner? Why wasn’t this decision left to the popular government?”

He claimed that doing away with darbar move practice will affect the business of Jammu and widen the gap between the people of Union Territory. He added that the order has killed the spirit and purpose behind it.

“Such order will force the closure of small business houses whose main customers are Kashmiri” Shuja Zaffar said.

Zaffar appealed LG Manoj Sinha to revisit the order so that the bond to strengthen can be improved.

“The order may save 200 crore but the kind of wedge it will create won’t be beneficial for the people of state. They will lose business contact which is the life line of a healthy society” Shuja Zaffar said.
