Leh- A truck driver was killed while its helper was injured in a road accident that took place near Fotu La Pass on Srinagar-Leh highway during wee hours of Saturday.
Reports said that truck bearing registration number JK01P/8724 fell deep into 200 feet deep gorge near the Fotu La pass in Leh district of Ladakh resulting in death to its driver and grievously injuring the helper.
The deceased driver has been identified as Mohammed Aslam Famda (34) son of Abdul Gani Famda and injured helper as Muneer Ahmad Famda (25) son of Abdul Gani Famda—both residents of Haknar Gund area of central Kashmir Ganderbal district.
