IED Detected In Srinagar’s Chanapora, Defused

Srinagar- State forces on Saturday detected an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Chanapora area of Srinagar, officials said.

A police officer said that the IED was placed inside a box near Chanapora police post.

On finding it, the police immediately called the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDS) that defused it before any tragedy could take place, and later sanitized the area, he added.
