Soldier Slips To Death In South Kashmir’s Shopian

Srinagar- An army soldier died after he fell from a bridge and drowned in a water body in Shopian district of south Kashmir on Friday, officials said.

They said the soldier identified as Arun Kumar of army’s 62 RR slipped from the bridge during patrolling near Sedow area. A resident of Pathankot, they said that the soldier’s body will be sent home, as per news agency GNS.

A police officer confirmed the death of the soldier.
