Man Killed In Road Accident In South Kashmir’s Anantnag

Srinagar- A 50-year-old man was killed in a road accident in Achabal area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday morning, officials said.

They said vehicle (JKO3A-7648) hit a pedestrian near B-Ed College in Thajiwara Achabal in Anantnag, resulting in critical injuries to him. He was immediately shifted to GMC Anantnag for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.

The deceased has been identified as Naseer Ahmad Wani (50) son of Khazir Mohammad Wani of Wangam Shangus.

Meanwhile a police official confirmed the death and said that a case has been registered in this regard.
