HAPPINESS is a feeling of joy and positivity and is the most valuable thing in the world. On 20th of March, World happiness day is commemorated every year. It was established by the United Nations General Assembly on June 28, 2012. On this day, the countries all over the world are ranked on the basis of happiness or happy inhabitants of that country. On March 20, 2021, Finland was ranked the first for the forth year.
But, on this day of happiness, a sad thing happened i.e, India was ranked 139th happy country. It’s a moment to think that where we are. In our eyes, even if we have everything, still a thing worthwhile and quite valuable is missing which is “Happiness”. We live in the world of our needs: furious and stressed. The dust of tension lies all over. No one waits for a minute to know what real nucleus of life is, it is happiness and nothing else.
We need to think upon it.
Let me share my experience that my eye caught and my mind held recently: Whenever, I walk on the road, I look at everyone, but I become abortive to find happiness or even a smile on anyone’s face, everyone is with furrows of stress on their forehead.
Happiness is very much important for us. The engine of our lives will run smoothly, if we grease them with happiness and optimism. A research has said that “optimism is associated with exceptional longevity. Women and men with greater optimism tend to live longer than their pessimistic peers”. We have a chance to live longer but, we miss it.
Happiness has many powers: If we start our day with a smile, it can make our day, because sometimes our joy can be the source of our smile, but sometimes, “our smile can be the source of our joy”. Our smile can also be a reason for many others to smile.
So, let’s be happy, forever, to live beautifully in this beautiful world with a number of beautiful people. And, remember, use your smile to change this world, but, never let this world change your smile. So let’s, drive the cars of our life and press the accelerator of happiness!
