3 Lottery Sellers Arrested For ‘Cheating’ People In Kupwara

Kupwara- Police arrested three lottery sellers for cheating people within the jurisdiction of police station Sogam in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officials said on Saturday.

They said that based on a complaint from a woman from Takipora Lolab, Police arrested three lottery sellers identified as Mehrajudin Shah, Yawar Irshad Malla and Wasim Akram Badroo, all residents of Kulgam, at Tekipora Lolab. “They were cheating people in the name of lottery,” reported news agency GNS.

In this regard case, they said, a case (FIR NO:-03/2021) under section 420 IPC has been registered in Police Station Sogam.
