“It was a thrilling day where we had to hike with 4 feet deep snow. We followed it with an ice bath challenge,” the Foundation’s press release stated.

“While Srinagar recorded its lowest temperatures in 30 years, some of the guys enjoyed Ice water bath at Dumail. Ahsaan Mohsin , Arsalan Rashid Wani, Adil Sidiq and Emran participated in the ice bath in freezing water.”

During winters, the Snow trek to Marchoi is considered to be one of the best treks in Ganderbal District that one can see.

The team was supervised by Managing Director of All Jammu Kashmir Mountaineering Foundation, Danish Dhaar, who was ably supported by Owais Dar in the front and Amir Lateef Dar from the back.

“All the credit to Owais Dar, Faizan Shafi and Waseem for acting as the ‘snow clearance machines’ of the team! We are thankful to our Executive body and all the participants for making this trek a success,” the Foundation said.
