KARGIL: Thousands of people after Friday prayers took out a massive rally against what they described as ‘genocide’ of ‘Hazara Shia’ community in Pakistan.

The rally passed through city roads while participants condemned the killing of members from Shia community in Pakistan.

The protesters were chanting slogans demanding arrest and punishment for the perpetrators.

Pertinently, gunmen killed 11 coal miners belonging to Hazara tribe in Macch area of Balochistan Pakistan a couple of days ago. The incident was widely condemned by people while Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan promised strict action against the assailants.

“The condemnable killing of 11 innocent coal miners in Machh Balochistan is yet another cowardly inhumane act of terrorism. Have asked the FC to use all resources to apprehend these killers & bring them to justice. The families of the victims will not be left abandoned by the government,” Khan had tweeted.

Meanwhile, Jammu Kashmir Anjuman Shari Shiayan while condemning the killing of Hazara Community members demanded action against the culprits.
