Srinagar- The authorities on Friday ordered winter vacation in all the Government Educational Institutions including recognized Private Schools upto Higher Secondary Level functioning in the Kashmir Division and winter zone of Jammu Division from December 21 till February 28.
“ It is hereby ordered that all the Government Educational Institutions including recognized Private Schools upto Higher Secondary Level functioning in the Kashmir Division and winter zone of Jammu Division shall observe winter vacation w.e.f 21st of December, 2020 to 28th of February, 2021,” reads the order.
However, as per order, winter tutorials for class-11 to 12 and online classes for all classes shall be held by strictly adhering the SOPs of Covd-19 issued by the Government from time to time. The online classes will be voluntary in nature for both teachers and students
“Any default on part of the Head of the School(s) in observance of the calendar and SOPs of Covd-19 shall attract strict action under rules,” the order added.
