Srinagar: PDP President and former Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti on Friday said that the ongoing protests of the farmers have forced the Government of India to bow down its knees.
Mehbooba said that the BJP is afraid of the power of the people which is why after the abrogation of Article 370 an atmosphere of fear and terror was created in Jammu and Kashmir.
She made these remarks in a tweet in response to ongoing protests by farmers on the Delhi borders against agrarian reform laws.
“Farmers protests have brought GOI to its knees.BJP is scared of people’s power & it’s why a reign of repression has been unleashed in J&K since Illegal abrogation of Article 370. Not allowing any peaceful medium for dissent shows their nervousness & failure on all fronts,” she tweeted.
