Srinagar: An employee of Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) was suspended on Wednesday for allegedly harassing a lady official and on charges of misconduct of duties.
An order issued by Joint Commissioner Administration, SMC, a copy of which lies with news agency Kashmir Dot Com, reads, “Pending enquiry one Ghaneemt Wani, Class 1V, Secretary Office, is placed under suspension with immediate effect.”
Moreover, the suspended employee has been attached with Drainage Circle, SMC.
Joint Commissioner Administration has also stated that a charge sheet in this regard will be issued separately.
