Srinagar- An army soldier committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in Chittergul Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday night, officials said.
They said the soldier identified as one Jagjeet Singh of 24 RR Delta Company-D from Haryana committed suicide inside an army camp in the district.
A police officer while confirming the incident said the case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations have been taken up.
