Srinagar- An army solder allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself using his service rifle in Rangreth area in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday.
Official sources said that Lance Naik Omprakash committed suicide with his service rifle at Old Air Field, reported news agency GNS.
He died on the spot, they said, adding that the cause of him taking the extreme step could not be ascertained immediately.
