BJP Activist Shot At In Budgam

Srinagar- Suspected militants on Sunday fired upon a BJP activist in Ompora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

Official sources said the militants fired upon a BJP activist, identified as Ab. Hamid Najar (38) son of Jamal Najar resident of Ompora Moheindpora, reported news agency GNS.

They said, militants fired upon him near railway station when he was on morning walk, leaving him injured

He has received bullet injuries in abdomen and has been shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment, the official said.
